New Delhi, Nov 4, 2026 13:26 IST - Choice International's board has recommended a 1:1 bonus issue, which will grant shareholders one additional equity share for every existing share they hold, pending shareholder approval. The firm revealed this proposal concurrently with its financial performance update for the quarter that ended on September 30, 2026, though a specific record date to determine eligibility has not yet been disclosed.

This corporate action coincides with Choice International achieving its highest-ever consolidated quarterly revenue, reaching Rs 379 crore in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027. This figure represents a 33 percent year-on-year expansion compared to the Rs 284.1 crore recorded during the same period in the previous year.

Simultaneously, the enterprise posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 69.47 crore, marking a 23 percent annual increase from Rs 56.5 crore in Q2 FY26. The profit after tax margin was recorded at 18.33 percent, shifting slightly from 19.88 percent a year prior. Meanwhile, consolidated EBITDA grew by 32 percent to hit Rs 130.6 crore, maintaining a stable EBITDA margin of 34.47 percent compared to 34.84 percent in the corresponding quarter of the prior year.

In a separate major development, Choice Equity Broking secured an infusion of Rs 900 crore from South Korea-based NH Investment & Securities following the close of the quarter. This capital injection is anticipated to fuel the expansion of the firm's margin trading facility and accelerate broader corporate growth initiatives. During the quarter, Choice successfully onboarded 1.73 lakh new demat accounts, pushing its total count to 13.78 lakh—a 14 percent year-on-year improvement—while total assets under custody reached Rs 66,300 crore and the margin trading facility book stood at Rs 463 crore.

Operational performance remained robust across other divisions as well. The government advisory segment maintained an order book totaling Rs 710 crore, and the investment banking pipeline featured 24 initial public offering mandates representing an estimated fundraising capacity of Rs 6,210 crore. Furthermore, the non-banking financial company division sustained a loan book of Rs 535 crore, underscoring ongoing strategic emphasis on scaling retail lending activities.

Headquartered in Mumbai and publicly traded on both the BSE and NSE, Choice International operates as a diversified financial services and consulting enterprise.
