Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP has drawn up a strategy to put Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the forefront of its electoral preparations. The high-stakes election in India's most populous state is scheduled to take place in 2027, and the party is preparing to step up its outreach across the state. The BJP has chalked out an initial plan under which PM Modi will address election rallies in every divisional headquarters across Uttar Pradesh.

The party intends to organise these rallies at the divisional level to reach voters across different regions and take its campaign to all parts of the state.Amit Shah, meanwhile, is expected to take charge of the organisational side of the campaign. In the first phase, he will hold region-wise meetings and booth-level conferences to interact with party workers.

These interactions are aimed at strengthening the party organisation on the ground and ensuring greater coordination among workers ahead of the elections. The BJP is also looking to involve its senior leadership in the campaign. Party national president Nitin Nabin, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior leaders will hold public meetings and participate in programmes across the state.

Their involvement is expected to give the party's outreach a wider presence beyond the rallies addressed by the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. The party is preparing to begin these activities after November 20.

Through a series of rallies, meetings and organisational programmes, the BJP aims to establish its presence across all divisions and regions of Uttar Pradesh as it begins gearing up for the 2027 Assembly elections.- Ends
