The Andhra Pradesh government has cautioned youngsters to be wary of fraudulent agents and unauthorised training institutions luring youth with job offers in the Russian army. The government issued an alert amid rising incidents of Indian youth being cheated and pushed into dangerous combat zones under the guise of overseas employment.Reports indicate that private agents are particularly targeting unemployed youth from the North Coastal Andhra region, luring them with promises of high salaries and better livelihood prospects.Once sent to Russia, the youngsters are reportedly pressured into joining the military, lured by false promises of high pay, or threatened with false legal cases to force their participation in military operations. These developments pose severe threats to the lives of the youth and inflict intense mental agony on their families. The government has advised students and job seekers to remain extremely vigilant against attractive advertisements and unauthorised agents. Before moving abroad, individuals must thoroughly verify visa details, job contracts, and the legitimacy of the recruitment agencies through official channels.Citizens are urged to immediately report any suspicious offers or agents attempting to force military recruitment to the police or relevant authorities.
