Uttar Pradesh increases dearness allowance by 3 percent for state employees before Diwali

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved a 3 percent increase in dearness allowance for state government employees before Diwali. The DA rate rises from 60 percent to 63 percent, effective from July. The enhanced allowance will be included with the November salary, with arrears from July to October added to provident fund accounts. The revision also benefits staff of aided educational institutions, technical education centres, and urban local bodies across the state.
