Two JSSSTU professors make global top 2% scientists list

A JSS Science and Technology University faculty member has figured in the Stanford University–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists List for five consecutive years, from 2022 to 2026, while another professor from the university has also earned a place in the prestigious 2026 list.

Two JSSSTU professors make global top 2% scientists list

In the 2026 single-year assessment, he secured a global rank of 70,133 and a subfield rank of 671, according to a press release.P. Siva Kota Reddy, professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics, has been featured in the 2026 list under the broad research areas of Mathematics and Statistics, in the General Mathematics subfield.

He secured a global rank of 11,87,318 and a subfield rank of 6,461.Mr. Punith Gowda’s research contributions also span Heat Transfer and Biomedical Engineering, while Mr.
