MVR Orthopaedics Hospital in Madurai recently organised a masterclass ‘Dr. MVR ORTHOCON 2026’ on advancements in Arthroplasty.According to a press release, the programme brought together orthopaedic surgeons from across Tamil Nadu to explore the latest developments in hip and knee replacement, with a special focus on robotic joint replacement, deformity correction and modern surgical techniques.Faculties shared their knowledge and clinical experience through lectures, interactive discussions and surgical video demonstrations.
Around 110 delegates from Tamil Nadu attended the programme, the press release said.The Organising Chairman Anand Muthuvel Rajan said the masterclass aimed to offer valuable insights, enhance surgical skills and inspire both young and senior orthopaedic surgeons to embrace the future of joint replacement.
