A 47-year-old man and his wife were found dead inside their powerloom unit at Vellalapatti in Namakkal on Monday (November 2).According to police, A. Srinivasan, a weaver, and his wife, Neela (39), resided in Kezheripatti near Devanankurichi.
Their son Keerthivasan (22) worked in Chennai, and their daughter Kaviya (19) is a second-year engineering student.The couple had leased a building at Vellalapatti and ran a powerloom unit there. On Monday, building owner Paramasivam found the unit open but the machinery silent.
Inside the unit, he found the bodies of Srinivasan and Neela.On information, the Tiruchengode Town police came to the spot and sent the two bodies to Government Tiruchengode Hospital for post-mortem examination.
