The Delhi High Court has provided interim relief to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta in a defamation suit over AI-generated videos. The court directed the Aam Aadmi Party to remove six contentious URLs, stating the videos, which depicted the Chief Minister as a liquor vendor, crossed the limits of political satire and harmed her dignity. It highlighted that political criticism does not excuse offensive portrayals of a female constitutional officeholder and ordered the immediate removal of the content while issuing notices to the defendants.
