Two sawmill workers from Odisha, Bihara and Manoj, both aged 23 were killed on Sunday night while they were crossing the four-lane Dindigul–Palani bypass road near Kottapatti. According to the police, a car travelling from Madurai to Bengaluru hit the men.
Dindigul taluk police sent the bodies to Dindigul Government Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examinations. The police have registered a case.
