Stunt coordinator and performer Geeta Tandon has spoken out about her experience on the sets of Anil Kapoor-hosted show India Ke Top 1%, alleging that she and her son were made to wait for nearly nine hours without proper communication from the production team. She also claimed that a production manager responded dismissively when she questioned the delay. In an eight-slide post shared on social media, Geeta said she was invited as a guest on the show along with her son.

She agreed to appear without payment, hoping the appearance would give her some visibility. However, she alleged that the experience left her feeling disrespected.Geeta said she reached the set at 12.30 pm and was told that her segment would be filmed in a few hours.

The wait, she claimed, stretched through the day, with little communication from the team. She and her son were made to sit in a tent and were not given clear updates about when they would be called."I gave up a day's work and even called my son back from Goa specifically for the shoot," she wrote, adding that she repeatedly asked the team for updates but was only told that they would get back to her.

Geeta said she eventually confronted the production team over the delay and the way they had been treated. According to her post, the production manager, Jaydeep, responded, "If they want to leave, let them leave.

But they can't leave without signing."Questioning why she and her son were not allowed to leave without signing a document, Geeta said she was not willing to accept the attitude. She added that they finally left the set at 9.15 pm, after spending nearly nine hours there. "I did not come there asking for a favour.

Your team invited me. Your team repeatedly followed up with me.

I gave you my time, my professional commitments and my son's time, without asking for a single rupee. The least I expected was basic human dignity," she wrote. She also addressed Banijay Asia, Anil Kapoor and Farah Khan, who were present on the show.

Geeta clarified that she was not suggesting that the actors or the filmmaker had personally instructed the team to treat her that way. However, she wanted them to know about her experience behind the scenes."Being a celebrity should not determine how much respect someone deserves.

The person standing behind the camera deserves the same dignity as the person standing in front of it," she added.Farah Khan, Anil Kapoor respondFarah Khan responded to Geeta's post and apologised for what had happened. She said she had not known that Geeta was waiting on the set, as she was shooting for the second episode in the evening."Geetaji apologies..

I had no idea you were there as I was shooting for the 2nd episode in the evening.. otherwise would have made you sit in my van. As would Anil if he knew.. we have tremendous respect for you and your hard work," Farah wrote.Geeta thanked her for the support, saying it meant a lot to her.Anil Kapoor also responded to the stunt coordinator's post.

The actor said he was saddened to hear about her experience and apologised that she and her son did not feel welcome."Geeta ji, it genuinely saddens me to hear this. As the host, I always wanted everyone who was part of the show to feel welcome and respected.

You and your son came as our guests. I'm sorry that your experience left you feeling otherwise," he wrote.Anil added that he took her feedback seriously and understood the importance of dignity and respect in the industry.
