A traditional, wholesome meal during their workday,” says Jerin Rajan, who leads the Coimbatore operations of the Kochi-based restaurant.
The take-way meals come in a traditional-style packed format, with rice, sambar, poriyal, kootu and other accompaniments | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Fresh fish is the foundation of the dishes here and offers a mind boggling range of seafood specials including thirutha (grey mullet), kalanji, seer fish, snapper, tiger prawns, and squid fry. “The take-way meals come in a traditional-style packed format, with rice, sambar, poriyal, kootu and other accompaniments. Customers can choose additional items such as fish curry, fish fry, prawn curry, vanjaram fry and other seafood preparations,” explains Jerin adding that the idea is to offer a convenient, home-style lunch rather than a regular restaurant meal.
An offering on the weekends includes the airy and soft ghee puttu that can be teamed with fish curry and seafood biryani. While the signature seafood biryani features crab, prawns, and premium catches, the Deepavali special is made with vanjaram fish. “The festive special caters to our customers who enjoy biryani as part of the celebrations.”For pre-bookings, call 7339623222 or 9605495767 .
