FIR filed against Abhishek Banerjee after midnight clashes in Kolkata

A First Information Report has been registered against Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee at Kalighat Police Station following violence near his Kolkata residence during birthday celebrations. The clashes occurred at around 2 a.m. between TMC supporters and Bharatiya Janata Party workers. Police confirmed four cases have been filed, including two by police themselves. Complaints were lodged by both Banerjee against unidentified BJP workers and BJP supporters against Banerjee.
