The final season of Koffee With Karan kicked off with Salman Khan as the first guest, and the preview for the second episode now highlights Telugu stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. The teaser offers a look into their married life, featuring Rashmika sharing that she initiated the marriage proposal.

Host Karan Johar welcomes the pair, referring to them as a blockbuster couple, and inquires about a proposal. When Rashmika indicates there was none, Vijay mentions that she suggested they get married. He adds that she brought up the topic numerous times, prompting Karan to seek clarification from Rashmika. She confirms she pursued the idea for an entire year, leading to a surprised reaction from the host and Vijay's lighthearted defense.

During the rapid-fire segment, Rashmika chooses Allu Arjun over Ranbir Kapoor. When Karan asks Vijay to name another female actor with whom he shares strong on-screen chemistry, Rashmika answers for him by stating no one else comes to mind. Vijay responds with a humorous comment about agreeing with his spouse being the primary rule of marriage.

The couple previously starred together in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and the 2019 project Dear Comrade. Their relationship generated widespread speculation before they married on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur through ceremonies blending Telugu and Kodava traditions.

Following their wedding, the pair reunited professionally in Rahul Sankrityan's period action drama Ranabaali, which released on October 16, 2026. Set in the 1800s Madras presidency, the film follows Vijay as the title character and Rashmika as his wife, Jayamma, in a narrative centered on British colonial rule and a man-made famine intended to boost grain exports to Britain.

Looking ahead, Rashmika's upcoming projects include Mysaa and Raaka, whereas Vijay is set to appear in Rowdy Janardhana.
