Having recently published a memoir detailing his conversion to Catholicism, Vance remarked that the possibility of the antichrist walking among humans does not seem implausible.
As an example of concerning societal shifts, Vance criticized artificial intelligence, referencing an acquaintance utilizing AI for marriage counseling as a practice that divorces humanity from its divinely intended social nature. Vance also addressed controversy surrounding an AI-generated image previously shared and later deleted by Donald Trump, which depicted the president in a manner resembling religious imagery. Dismissing suggestions of mockery, Vance defended Trump as humorous and sociable rather than intentionally malicious, noting that the former president intended the image to portray a doctor providing comfort.
